About Me

I want you to enjoy your fitness journey

I decided, and trained, to become a personal trainer during the Covid pandemic. I’ve always loved fitness, sport and generally being active, but during the times of lockdowns it became apparent to me just how important these things were. If it weren’t for the walks and the home workouts, I would’ve had a really rough time – and I know others most definitely could have benefitted from this.

I decided then that I wanted to teach more people just how life-changing it can be when fitness and nutrition become a second thought in your life. When it’s natural to feel strong, to be able to take on challenges as you will, and to feel the mental resilience that comes from doing hard things – over and over.

Since then I’ve helped many people to become fit, strong and competent through regular training, habit formation, and nutrition & lifestyle guidance.

I’m not the kind of trainer who will enforce strict rules on you around exercise and food. I’ll encourage you to include whatever kind of food you enjoy and move in whatever way you like. I’m a firm believer in us working together as a team and will aim to coach you with that in mind at all times.

Training Style

A functional fitness approach

My training style consists of a wide variety of training methods. I can make you comfortable with a barbell, dumbells and kettlebells. I also use a mixed-modal method of training, combining cardio and strength training to bring you to peak fitness. If you’re looking to become stronger, fitter and more mobile, this is the perfect training for you. 

Barbell movements

Want to become more confident with a barbell? Or maybe you’re looking to improve your bench, squat or deadlift. I can help with that! We’ll take a look at your, correct any issues and build the weight from there.

Strength for running - RUNSTRONG

RUNSTRONG was a 8 week program specifically tailored to teaching runners (and triathletes) how to strength train to become more resilient cardio athletes. The evidence is there, we just need cardio lovers to jump on the lifting train now! 

Sport specific training

I’ve helped tons of everyday athletes to be stronger, more resilient and better prepared for their sports. Alongside this I’ve prepared plenty of grassroots sports teams in and out of the gym for a top season through pre-season coaching.

Aerobic training

Using workouts that will get your blood pumping and lungs burning, we’ll improve your heart health and have you feeling fit as ever. Using Erg machines such as Ski Erg, Row Erg and Bike Erg I’ll work you through fun workouts, ranging in intensity for peak physical fitness.
